Test & Laboratory Instrument Enclosures

Custom instrument housings and panels for electronic testing, optical measurement and environmental analysis equipment.

Drawing-based enclosure manufacturing

Desktop instruments require a clear operating face, accessible internal mounting points and a consistent exterior finish. We manufacture the housing around your instrument layout, including display apertures, control openings and specified panel markings.

Parts we can review

  • Desktop instrument outer housings
  • Front and rear interface panels
  • Internal sheet metal shielding covers
  • Mounting plates and internal brackets

Key drawing inputs

  • Instrument envelope and board layout
  • Display and control cutout drawings
  • Ventilation and connector positions
  • Cover removal and maintenance access
  • Silk-screen artwork and finish sample
  • Critical dimensions and sample approval

The product shown is an empty fabricated housing awaiting equipment assembly. Measurement electronics, optical assemblies, calibration, vacuum chambers and instrument performance certification are not included.

From sample review to batch production

The production route is agreed from the drawing: laser cutting or CNC punching, bending, joining, hardware insertion and finishing. Powder coating and silk-screen printing can be included where specified. Sample approval establishes the reference for dimensions, panel fit and appearance.

Share 2D drawings and a STEP model where available, together with quantity, material, finish and inspection requirements. Critical dimensions, cutouts and assembly interfaces should be identified before production.

Project questions

Can you add instrument labels without installing the controls?

Yes. Silk-screened text and symbols can be applied to the finished panel using approved artwork. Displays, buttons and electronic components do not need to be included in the enclosure supply scope.

Can you work from a 3D STEP file?

Yes. The inquiry form accepts STEP, STP, DWG, DXF, IGES, STL, PDF and ZIP files. Include a dimensioned drawing with tolerances, material and finish requirements for a complete review.

Can you supply powder-coated parts with hardware installed?

Fabrication, coating, printing, hardware insertion and packaging can be combined when specified in the agreed project scope.
