Digital caliper measuring a raw sheet metal part in the quality inspection area

Quality Evidence

Inspection that connects the drawing to the delivered part

Dimensional, coating, appearance, assembly, and final checks can be defined around the product, application, and agreed inspection plan.

Inspection Planning

Quality requirements made visible before shipment

Inspection is most useful when the critical features are agreed before production: dimensions, interfaces, panel fit, finish, color, coating thickness, appearance, and packing condition.

Our team can align checks with the approved drawing and project requirements for sheet metal parts, enclosures, cabinets, brackets, welded assemblies, and coated products.

Core Checks

Four release checks, in one clear sequence

Inspection follows the approved drawing and project requirements. The exact checkpoints and sampling level are confirmed before production.

  1. 01

    Dimensions & Cutouts

Critical dimensions, bends, holes, slots, and interface positions.

  2. 02

    Structure & Fit

Panel alignment, welded structure, hardware, and assembly fit.

  3. 03

    Coating & Appearance

Film thickness, color, texture, adhesion, and visible surface condition.

  4. 04

    Packing & Release

Quantity, protection, labels, packing condition, and agreed records.

Surface Treatment

Finish testing matched to the application

Thickness

Film build can be checked against the agreed coating specification, commonly including requirements at or above 60 micrometres.

Appearance

Color, gloss, texture, visible marks, and overall finish are reviewed against the approved requirement.

Adhesion

Adhesion checks can be included when required by the product or inspection plan.

Salt Spray

Testing up to 500 or 1,000 hours can be discussed according to material, coating system, environment, and agreed standard.

Before Shipment

Inspection records that support release decisions

Inspection reports, finish records, and agreed photographs can be prepared before shipment when included in the project scope. The required format and sampling plan should be confirmed during quotation.

FAQ

Quality control questions

Can inspection be based on our drawing?

Yes. Critical dimensions, tolerances, interfaces, appearance requirements, and sampling expectations can be reviewed from the released drawing and inspection plan.

Can you provide a report before shipment?

Inspection records can be discussed as part of the agreed project scope, including the required fields, photographs, and release criteria.

Does 1,000-hour salt spray apply to every product?

No. The appropriate test duration depends on material, pretreatment, coating system, structure, environment, and the agreed product standard.
