Start with a controlled design brief
Identify the required deliverables, design ownership, revision authority and functional requirements. A manufacturing review is not a substitute for the equipment designer's system validation.
Use the sample to resolve interfaces
Review the sample against agreed dimensions, mating components and finish references. Record changes in a revised drawing or approval record rather than relying on informal photographs or messages alone.
Release a repeatable batch package
Freeze the approved revision, bill of materials, inspection criteria and packaging instructions. Material alternatives, tooling changes or new requirements should be reviewed before production.
Start a drawing-based review
Share the application, quantity and known requirements. An unfinished drawing can start a discussion. Materials, process, inspection and delivery require project-specific agreement.
