Powder Coating & Surface Finish Review
Define the substrate, color, texture, masking and acceptance requirements as one finishing package.
Specify a finish, not just a color
Provide the color reference, gloss or texture requirement and visible surfaces. Review preparation and curing against the selected substrate and coating product documentation.
Keep functional surfaces controlled
Identify electrical contact surfaces, threaded holes and close-fit interfaces. Agree masking and checks after finishing rather than assuming the coating will not affect assembly.
Validate the intended environment
Indoor and outdoor applications can require different finishing systems. Specify environmental exposure and any required tests; no fixed corrosion rating is promised without an agreed system and evidence.
Start a drawing-based review
Share the application, quantity and known requirements. An unfinished drawing can start a discussion. Materials, process, inspection and delivery require project-specific agreement.
